As Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TIC), os novos contextos de ensino-aprendizagem e a identidade profissional dos professores

A assunção de partida deste trabalho é a de que, com as Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TIC), emerge uma discursividade que rompe com o paradigma sociocultural fundante dos sistemas educativos modernos. Um novo discurso sobre a educação está a ser construído, ocampo educativo e seus atores estão a ser reconfigurados – trata-se de um novo regime de verdade para o campo educativo. Os discursos explorados partilham da idéia de que existe uma mudança em curso nas sociedades contemporâneas, sendo essa transformação discursivamentemediada pelas TIC. A velha escola é retratada como uma entidade social enfraquecida naturalmente, enfadonha e ultrapassada. O professor, descrito nestes discursos, é um indivíduo que quando despertado pelas TIC (e seus efeitos) desenvolverá uma identidade inovadora capaz deorientar processos de aprendizagens sob demanda, na lógica própria da sociedade do conhecimento.Palavras-chave: educação; tecnologias; professor; identidade.AbstractThe basic assumption of this work is that with the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) emerges a kind of discourse that breaks with the established socio-cultural paradigm of the modern educational systems. A new discourse about education is to be constructed, theeducative field and its actors are to be reconfigured, and it is a new regimen of truth for the educative field. The discourses we have explored in this work share the idea that there is a change in the contemporary societies and this change is due to the ICT preponderant role. The “old” school is shown as a naturally weakened, boring and exhausted social entity. Theteacher, described in these discourses is an individual that when wakened up to the ICT (and its effects) will develop an innovative identity capable of guiding learning processes under demand, in the logic of the knowledge society.Keywords: education; technologies; teacher; identity.
