O Censo Escolar

Realizado anualmente, o Censo Escolar abrange todos os níveis de ensino (Educação Infantil, Ensino Fundamental e Ensino Médio) e modalidades (Ensino Regular, Educação Especial e Educação de Jovens e Adultos). Com base nas informações captadas, é atualizado o Cadastro Nacional de Escolas e são estabelecidas as políticas de correção dos desequilíbrios regionais e de promoção da eqüidade na oferta do ensino público, como os programas de Alimentação Escolar, Livro Didático, Dinheiro Direto na Escola e o de Aceleração da Aprendizagem.Palavras-chave: estatísticas educacionais; censo escolar; Sistema Integrado de Informações Educacionais (SIEd).AbstractThe School Census, yearly performed, consists of a ationwide collection of educational information and statistics of Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Education and different types of programs, (Regular, Special and Adult Education). Based on the data collected, the National School Register is updated and the politics of the correction of the regional unbalances is established, as well as the equity promotion in the offering of public education, such as the School Meals, Didactic Books, Money in Schools and Learning Acceleration.Key words: educational statistics; school census; Integrated System for Educational Information (SIEd).
