Interseção cultura-educação: necessidade pedagógica

Apresenta uma abordagem da interseção cultura-educação como parte de uma política pública que objetive o ensino produtivo e agradável, através de projetos levados a efeito no Rio de Janeiro, destacando-se a importância de se aliar a teoria à prática. Fala-se, em primeiro lugar, do projeto "Animação Cultural", realizada pela equipe do Prof. Darcy Ribeiro em dois momentos, ou seja, no início dos anos 80 e 90, atualmente "esquecido". Em seguida, analisa-se o projeto "CIEP da mangueira" – em processo de crescimento contínuo – , mediante depoimento extraído da palestra da diretoria do CIEP, Terezinha Labruna, gravada durante o XXXIII Fórum da Undime-RJ. Ambos os projetos exemplificam a importância da união da educação com a cultura – cultura aqui considerada em múltiplas visões. os outros dois projetos analisados, embora louváveis, têm características diferentes, pois o tipo de cultura por eles desenvolvida tende mais para o conceito tradicional de cultura erudita.Palavras-Chave: educação e cultura; educação intercultural; política da educação; política culturalAbstractThe article intends to present a vision of the intersection culture-education as a part of a public policy which aims an efficient and pleasant teaching, through some projects put to practice in Rio de Janeiro, emphasizing the importance of joining theory and practice. First, we talk about the "Cultural Animation" project, developed by Prof. DArcy Ribeiro"s team in two moments, i.e., in the early 80s and 90s, which is presently "forgotten". Then, it is analysed the "CIEP da Mangueira" project – in process of continuous growth – , through the recorded words of the schoolmistress of the CIEP, Terezinha Labruna, during her lecture in the XXXIII Forum of Undime-RJ. Both projects exemplify the importance of joining culture and education – culture taken in its multiple visions. The two others, though praiseworthy, have different characteristics as to the type of culture aimed a more traditional concept of learned culture.Key-Words: education and culture; intercultural education; policy of education; cultural policy.
