This article provides an example of practical application of geometric definition of trigonometric functions, followed by conversion of sums in product of trigonometric functions for projectile entry angle determination on the victim’s body and finding the numeric value of the distance shot depending on the difference in height of the muzzle to the location of the gunshot wound. Comparing provided options allows to assume or exclude certain variants that significantly narrows the range of investigative actions.
