The article presents a list of neonatalcare services to children born to HIV-infectedmothers: post-exposure antiretroviral prophylaxisin newborn, safe feeding, diagnosis of antenatalHIV-infection, counseling of HIV-infected motherson adherence to receive antiretroviral drugs, themedical management of their children. We proposealgorithms for counseling HIV-infected mothers byneonatologists according to the list of neonatal careservices.
