Modern data in relation to the problem of establishing the prescription of death coming in a late postmortem period are presented. We have determined problem question, set goals and formulated tasks to realize modern approaches in diagnosing the prescription of death coming. To our way of thinking, an elaboration of a complex program of research of a late postmortem period with an evaluation of the expert and diagnostic criteria of the prescription of death coming is promising, taking into account putrefactive transformation of the connective tissue.
