The paper recommends the observance of the system of maintaining medical records which is an integral part of using the developed computer program "Dental identification" which uses ciphers and codes of form № 43 of dental reporting of Ukraine’s MHP to improve the efficiency of the work of law enforcement and forensic-investigating bodies for the identification of the dead and living persons.
