The paper has generalized the clinicoepidemiological findings pertaining to the spread of systemic tickborne borreliosis in the Ternopil’ region, which is recognized to be endemic in relation to Lyme-borreliosis. The level of the disease incidence increases with every passing year. Erythema predominates among clinical forms. A serologic examination of victims for the purpose of diagnosing different clinical forms of the disease is indicated as a result of a sting by ticks. Health education is topical among the population with a view of informing about the methods of preventing Lyme disease.
