As a profesional, teacher is forced to always develop himself to be a master in its field and to own competencies and skills so that he/she could think critically, sistematically, logically and creatively. In this way the role of a teacher is very important in giving guidance and education toward its students. In order to master and develop teaching approach, as constructivism approach in science, there should be conducted in five steps. In learning using constructivism approach, students construct their own knowledge by relating their basic knowledge. New knowledge could be attained by problem solving and inquiry. The teacher should apply an approach which makes student involved actively in learning process and leave conventional approach behind in order to catch students interest in learning process and improve learning result.
