Modern architectural practice offers such forms of training that provide the very possibility of practical realization of young architects` creative vision and professional potential. Various directions of post-graduate practical training are described, and their impact on the results of creative and professional activity of architects is analyzed. The consequences of the introduction of practical training model for architects in the Russian Federation are speculated upon.
