The purpose of the research work is to determine the possibility of using scaffolds as combined protective screens in the construction of multi-storey buildings. Based on the results of modeling the operation of combined protective screens during the implementation of construction and installation works in conditions under which several types of loads act simultaneously on the structure (constant, temporary and special loads), there has been found out that the use of scaffolds of the DTS type (demountable tubular scaffolds) according to GOST 27321-2018 is allowed with a number of restrictions affecting the minimum allowable cross-sectional area of the elements, fastening the screen assemblies to the structure erected and compliance with the technological sequence of work.
