The article examines the features of investment in housing construction in the economy of the Russian Federation, typical of the situation of the pandemic crisis of 2020-2021. The main institutional, organizational and financial features of investment activities in the housing construction sector are systematized. Recommendations for improving investment mechanisms in the housing construction sector of the Russian Federation in modern conditions have been developed.
