The article discusses the factors affecting the processes of manufacturing and installation of steel structures. The main focus is on the non-geometric factors, the analysis of them is carried out, and dependencies on each other are revealed. Based on these dependencies, recommendations are offered regarding the possibility of improving the methodology for calculating technological tolerances in the manufacture and installation of steel structures.
