The paper presents an improved methodology for determining the reduction in sections of cold-formed thin-walled profiles, which allows simplifying and automating the calculation process for specific sections. This approach implies the necessity to specify only the initial data, and the entire calculation process takes place in the automated mode, which can significantly reduce its complexity.
