The paper presents the analysis results of the energy consumption of oil field facilities. The expediency of using the cogeneration principle in the power systems of oil fields is substantiated. Given the vast geographical distance of oil field objects, the most rational solution of the problem, according to the authors, would be a transition to distributed energy generation.
