The purpose of this study is to describe the development of the ability to introduce the letters of the alphabet using word cards to early childhood children aged 5-6 years in RA Al-Amien, Limusnunggal Village, Cibeureum District, Sukabumi City. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research conducted at RA Al-Amien Limusnunggal Karanganyar. The research subject is a B1 class teacher at RA Al-Amien Limusnunggal. The research informants were the Principal of the Kindergarten and Class A teachers at RA Al-Amien, Limusnunggal Village, Cibeureum District, Sukabumi City. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, documentation. The research is aimed at improving human resources, namely teachers in increasing recognizing letters in early childhood, as well as making letter cards that are interesting for early childhood.
