The present research arises from the need to strengthen the logical reasoning, essential for all students who choose to study in computer science, especially in the area of software engineering, a new career that will be offered by UTEQ (Quevedo State Technical University). A bibliographical research was carried out, where publications of Educational Neuroscience are cited, a new discipline that relates the study of the brain, the mind and education. Likewise, researches of processes and learning styles oriented to the logical thinking necessary in the student of software engineering are mentioned; And finally recommendations are made for the teacher to apply them in order to improve student learning.
