Article shows the results of the research of current state of Ukrainian banking system at the context of key criteria, drawing attention to the feasibility of implementing a systematic approach to analytical evaluation of its behavior. Factors which have affected performance indicators have been analyzed, indicating possible ways to overcome the crisis.
