Article is based on the question of interdependence between concepts and social phenomena of youth subcultures and values. In this context is focused on impact of values on creation of youth subcultures and nature of activity of various subcultural groups manifesting and declaring their values. Article inclu- des the definition of value, with an emphasis on value as a standard, norm and pattern and the definition of subculture, which includes the concept of social world. This enabled the presentation of various types of values in subcultures and draw a conclusion – analysis of values is fundamental for understanding of subcultures.
