Lectotypes for the names V. biloba L., V. pectinata L., V. pilosa L., V. pseudochamaedrys Jacq., V. romana L., and V. urticifolia Jacq. are here designated. An epitype is also chosen in order to avoid misinterpretation of the name V. biloba. For V. fruticans Jacq. a neotype is designated.
