Summary Strong correlations are demonstrated in 74 species of Eragrostis , involving microhair morphology (‘chloridoid’ and ‘panicoid‘) types, PCR (photosynthetic carbon reduction) sheath anatomy, and modes of spikelet disarticulation. The observations seem significant in relation to infrageneric classification.
