Summary Haworthia glabrata (Salm‐Dyck) Baker is a horticulturally common but taxonomically little known species. A detailed taxonomic and biosystematic study of H. glabrata and its apparent allies was recently undertaken and has revealed that this species name has never been typified. Aloe glabrata Salm‐Dyck, the basionym of Haworthia glabrata , is here neotypifled.
