The official date of publication of each Contribution is given, with author(s), title, and pagination. Special problems, due to inconsistencies in the sources of issue dates (hand‐stamped in a few copies and published in the Smithsonian year ), are discussed. The issue dates appearing in the Smithsonian year are reliable, except in recent years when the published date sometimes was incomplete.
