Summary The illegitimate names subg. “Pircunia,” its sect. “Pircunia,” and sect. “Pircuniopsis” in another non‐typical subgenus of the genus Phytolacca are changed to subg. Pircuniastrum , sect. Pircuniastrum , and sect. Pseudolacca. A lectotype is supplied for Moquin‐Tandon's illegitimate generic name “Pircunia.”
