Summary The techniques proposed in Taxon 32, 4: 616–617 for preparing Riccias for herbarium study seem inadequate. The author says what we must do and what we must not do to keep Riccias in good conditions on account of their biology, of the specific value of some morphological characters and the possible studies at the present time and in the future.
