Summary While preparing a floristic treatment of the red algal order Rhodymeniales in British Columbia and northern Washington, several names were found to be lacking holotypes or were incorrectly typified. Lectotypes are designated here for the following names: Botryocladia psendodichotoma (Farlow) Kylin, Fauchea fryeana Setchell, Fauchea laciniata J. Agardh, Fryeella gardneri (Setchell) Kylin, Gastroclonium subarticulatum (Turner) Ktitzing [= Gastroclonium coulteri (Harvey) Kylin], Leptofauchea pacifica Dawson, Lomentaria hakodatensis Yendo.
