Malignant melanomas of the female reproductive system are rare. These are biologically highly aggressive tumors with poor prognosis. Preoperative establishment of the diagnosis is practically impossible. Therapeutic approach and treatment of patients with metastatic ovarian melanoma are highly dependent on precise histological analysis.
