Radovan Zogovic, as one of the most important poets and literary critics, who appeared on our literary scene in the period between the two world wars, with his creativity and attitudes caused the multitude of conflicting opinions with both the audience and the critics. With this work, and on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of Zogovic?s birth, we remember him primarily as a poet of ?defiant verse?, which he created from his young days to old age. This irreconcilable, exclusive and sharp polemic remained faithful to his attitudes and in the times when the public accepted him, as well as when he was not politically fit. Although in his poetry there are no verses that are recited in school, Radovan Zogovic is a name for remembering in Serbian literature.
