The Serbian realistic story was formed under the great influence of folklore tradition. The majority of analysis ended with poetics analogy connecting two artistic systems, oral and written realistic literature. Besides studying stylistic connections, the paper aims at essential stylistic differences which make a discourse, the oral one, untranslatable into another and vice wersa.
