The IGPC Engineering Department designed a project for the reconstruction of the copolymer production plant at "Zeolite Mira", Mira, Italy, using technology developed in the laboratories of the IGPC. The capacity of the reconstructed plant was increased from 17,000 to 25,000 t/y, in 1991 and the product quality was also improved.The product meets all quality regulation, as well as environmental regulations. There is no waste materials, and precautions were chosen to provide safe operation. This process is fully automatized, and the product has uniform quality.
