Inbreeding

The objective of this paper is to present to scientific and professional public the most common forms of inbreeding appearing or carried out with different kinds of domestic animals aimed to enhancement of the population production capabilities. In this way, by following the change of certain productive, reproductive and other characteristics, the kind of the inbreeding that gives the most favorable effects will be established. Thus such characteristics would be additionally enhanced at given domestic animals population. Herewith are described modern methods determining direct relationships, collateral relationships and inbreeding coefficient.
