Melanoma is the most significant malignant tumor of the melanocyte system. It is characterized by a high malignant potential and an outstanding possibility for giving metastasis. Despite all investigations and progress concerning molecular genetics and immunology melanoma is a therapeutic problem even today. Vaccines are being developed with an intention not only to prevent but also to cure the disease, and the most important aim of clinical trails is to develop corresponding antitumor immunotherapy based on vaccine
