Doradztwo rolnicze w kontekście nowej ekonomii instytucjonalnej ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem teorii dóbr publicznych

The paper attempts to place the issue of the agricultural advisory system in the light of New Institutional Economics with a special focus on the theory of public goods. The paper presents the main assumptions of the theory of public goods in reference to public goods generated in rural areas. Agricultural advisory services have been analysed on several levels of aggregation. The paper describes the agricultural advisory system in Poland and characterises the operations of agricultural advisory centres which play a key role in this system.
