Uwarunkowania efektywnego wykorzystania czasu pracy kierowcy w praktyce gospodarczej

The aim of the study was to identify the factors of effective use of drivers’ working time in transport companies. The research used the case study method in the implementation of international transports. The analyzes show that the higher efficiency of the use of drivers’ working time is influenced, among others, by timely loading and unloading, cooperation of loading and unloading companies with the driver, providing the driver with reliable information at the right time and the manager’s commitment to the work performed. Lack of care in terms of these factors contributes to an increase in costs and a reduction in the efficiency of economic processes.
