This article is a follow up on an earlier article1 in an effort to tackle complex problems: be it economic, social, environmental, etc. by utilizing different examples to explore a transdisciplinary methodological framework based on an interpretation of how Leonardo da Vinci tackled tough problems in his time.2 The subtitle is a tribute to da Vinci in that he always tried to depict his understandings of nature in art forms. Our interpretation of da Vinci's approach is summarized into four words, namely: transcendence, possibility, leveraging, and mastery which we will elaborate below.
