This essay highlights the relevance of sociocognitive activities of repetition and production of paraphrases for both retention and the evolution of scientific knowledge, noting that neuroscientific investigations proved that importance and necessity, given the characteristics of the individual human brain function.KEY WORDS: Repetition; Paraphrase; Knowledge production.
