Arte Fragmentada: A última obra prima de Aaron Sloboj

RESUMO: A Última Obra Prima de Aaron Slobodj (2004) de José Carlos Fernandes assenta nas ideias de fragmentação e de mistificação: apresenta uma obra composta por supostos fragmentos de texto e ilustração que podem ser associados indiferentemente pelo leitor e um autor inventado como se fosse real. Embora Fernandes seja sobretudo um autor de banda desenhada, a definição do género do presente livro não é facilmente resolvida e os textos críticos e biobibliográficos incluídos no volume contribuem para a sua indecidibilidade genológica. Além das questões referidas, o livro de Fernandes permite refletir sobre uma questão comparatista fulcral: a relação entre dois meios de representação distintos, texto e ilustração. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: fragmentação; mistificação; genologia; meio de representção. ABSTRACT: A Última Obra Prima de Aaron Slobodj (2004) by José Carlos Fernandes can be described as a fake in fragments, since the book consists of fragments, both texts and illustrations, that the reader can freely relate and Slobodj is an invented author who is taken as a real one. Although Fernandes is mainly known for his comics, the genre of A Última Obra Prima de Aaron Slobodj is not easily definable. Moreover, the critical and bio-bibliographical texts included in the volume reinforce the difficulty in identifying its genre. Additionally, Fernandes’ book invites a comparative perspective to discuss the relationship between two different media, text and illustration.KEYWORDS: fragmentation; fake; genre; medium.
