This article deals with a very evident issue in poetic texts of oral circulation: the reiterativity. It is based on studies about the oral narratives from Pantanal called “burial. Dealing with a group of 37narratives from Pantanal, some invariable elements were analyzed, such as: origin, announcement, marking, probation and epilogue, which are reiterable. But, these narratives present some variation intheir utterance context, that is, in their performance. Thus, the narratives reorganized themselves, changing their meanings.
