The impact of globalization following agreement with world trade organization on Indian agricultural areas, role of multinational companies and their effect have been undertaken through technical observations. Effects are clearly visible between farming undertaken by rich farmers sponsored by multinational companies and traditional mechanical farming by local poor farmers, resulting in social gap between them. Moreover, decline availability of native seeds, loss of natural fertility of land due to its excessive use, besides adverse impact on environment and biodiversity have been observed. Some effective suggestions have also been enumerated for the purpose.
