Disasters are the result of imbalance in nature that leads to hindered development and progress. Besides natural calamities there are several manmade situations. Natural disasters are earthquake, Tsunami, landslide, eruption of volcanoes, draught, flood, melting of glaciers etc. Patience, intelligence, mutual cooperation and proper management are the remedial means. Disaster management is of two types- pre disaster and post disaster.
