Malaria is still a health problem in Lahat Regency because it has the highest Annual Parasite Incidence (API) in South Sumatera Province which is 2.94‰ in 2014 and decreased to 2.57‰ in 2015. The high rate of malaria morbidity occured in Lahat Regency so it is important to conduct comprehensive malaria prevention by promotive, preventive, and curative to decrease malaria morbidity rate. This study aims to determine the relationship between malaria prevention program with malaria morbidity rate in Lahat Regency. The design of this research was descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. This research was conducted on 31 malaria program managers at puskesmas in Lahat Regency. The method used was interview using questionnaires to obtain quantitative data, while secondary malaria data was obtained from Lahat District Health Office. The results showed that the percentage of puskesmas that conducted promotive efforts by counseling was quite high (93,5%), but still not statistically significant to the stratification of area based on API-rate. The most prevalent preventive measures was the distribution of nets and the lowest was the spread of larvivorous fish. Malaria prevention programs which had significant impactto morbidity based on API-rate in Lahat was the distribution of Artemisinin-base Combination Treatment (ACT) given to people with malaria positive (p value = 0,008).
