The main trends typical for the current Russian legislation system are considered. Traditional or constant trends and new ones conditioned by a number of external and internal factors are distinguished. To the external factors in particular, the author refers the spread of coronavirus pandemic, which actualized the development of cyclic legislation as well as the digitalization of law.
