The paper presents an analysis of manifestations of brucellosis and its influence on the development of livestock and the economy in the African continent, aggravated the imbalance anti-epizootic measures and diagnostic tests, limited economic opportunities and organizational characteristics and economic activity in animal husbandry. Economic costs of brucellosis, abortion, stillbirth, birth of nonviable offspring, reduced milk production and the use of animals in the labor force. Along with the significant economic damage and social disease is a threat.
