The article tells about the heroic epic of one of the ships of the Black Sea Fleet’s health service ambulance squad, which participated in the defense of Odessa and Sevastopol in October-November 1941 — sanitary transport «Armenia.» As a result of search work in the archives of the Russian Ministry of Defense with declassified documents in 2020, data on the volume of evacuated defenders of Odessa and Sevastopol, as well as the personnel of the crew of «Armenia» and medical personnel, who died on the ship on November 7, 1941, are being entered into scientific circulation.
