The aim of this article is to reflect about the relevance of incorporating the paradigm of complexity in psychomotor thinking, which involves different epistemic frames. It describes the simplifying thinking that reduces and fragments the different areas of knowledge, as opposed to complex thinking, which integrates them in a systemic way. At the same time, it presents a reflection about its possible influences on the foundation of psychomotricity as a health area practice. It is concluded that complex thinking is useful in the transdisciplinary foundation of psychomotricity and structuring of psychomotor praxis to meet the needs, specificities and psychomotor performance of each human being.
