When renovating built-up areas, buildings are subject to demolition, the bearing and enclosing structures of which are made of reinforced concrete, concrete and brick. It is not advisable to take the disassembled structures to landfills, since it is possible to process concrete structures at stationary factories and mobile plants by crushing into crushed stone, sand and reuse these materials in construction. The article discusses the option of recycling concrete at a construction site using a set of construction machines on the example of the renovation of a residential area in St. Petersburg in order to assess the environmental and economic effect of the method of recycling reinforced concrete scrap.
