Sewer system monitoring is important to keep the city clean. Irregular monitoring of the sewage system leads to obstruction of drainage. Sewer blockages are the main causes of sewer flooding and pollution. Sometimes, out of ignorance, workers may encounter an accident as they may not be aware of the conditions inside the manhole. This document represents an experimentation of the smart sanitation system using IoT. In this model, a water pump motor, transformer, microcontroller and IoT module is used to obtain the desired output from the module.
