The present study is aimed to develop an understanding on the principles and working of a Rapid Gravity Water Treatment Plant with River Hooghly as its source. The following project gives us an insight to the relative workings of the various parts of the Water Treatment Plant from source to distribution. This also includes detailed design of each of the components of the system.
