The paper is devoted to the study of the current state and prospects of reformatting the party-political system of Russia in the interests of society development. The paper’s stipulations are based on the generalization of the results of a large-scale sociological study, combining the methods of desk research, focus groups, interviews with experts, and private sessions with experts. The paper studies ideological demands of the electorate in relation to political parties. The authors provide a characteristic of the actors of the Russian political system and suggest options of party space design.
