This study was conducted to know theIntelligence and Academic Achievement in mathematics of Secondary SchoolStudents in Erode Educational District, Tamilnadu. Thepresent study theinvestigator defined to take a sample of 330 school students based onthe random sampling were an analysed. Intelligence test inventory wasdesigned by cattel and cattel was used by the investigator AndAchievement in mathematics marks taken from summative test. It was foundthat there is a Correlation between Intelligence and Achievement inMathematics of Secondary School Students.KK.,The present paper assessesthe effect of a nationally authorized free mid-day meal scheme of Indiaon school enrollment and retention with respect to gender. School paneldata allows us to reflect over the strategy of progress in enrollmentand retention rates of boys and girls. Researcher has used a descriptivemethod to conduct the study. A combination of quantitativeandqualitative method was used where both the primary and secondary datawere taken from the schools. Tool used for the study was informationblank in a modified form supported by interviews with head teachers andstudents. A simple random sampling technique has been used by theresearcher to carry out the study. A sample of 80 schools was drawn froma total population of 209 elementary schools of the district Srinagar.Analysis of data reveals that mid-day meal scheme has more positiveeffect on access of girls as compared to the boys at elementary schoollevel in district Srinagar of Jammu and Kashmir.
